PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY SEMINAR

Dr. Parker will be holding TWO peripheral neuropathy seminars this Friday, January 29th.

Some neuropathies come on suddenly, others over many years. Some people are affected only by a weakness in the arms and legs which leads to difficulty standing, walking, or getting out of a chair. The loss of sensation from the feet, ankles and toes contributes to patients not having a ‘good sense’ of where their feet are in space, touching the ground, and this causes them to fall very easily. These under-recognized sensory losses CAN ONLY be detected with a proper clinical exam. This office has the necessary tools to uncover the underlying cause of this ’silent’ nerve damage.

Some patients will eventually become unable to walk at all. Others start with a tingling, pin pricking feeling that turns into deep sharp stabbing pains and burning eletric shocks. These debilitating problems can also be at their worst at night while trying to get to sleep, because the PAIN never goes away. In fact, once started IT ONLY GETS WORSE!!

If you or someone you know has experienced any of the following symptoms then the information in this class will be valuable for you.

Due to the high demand for this class, the 12:00 class has been filled and is now closed, however our office will also have a 2:00 class offered. Please call for more information and to reserve your seat. There is no charge for this seminar.

BRAIN ENHANCEMENT

How Does the Brain Enhancement Program work?

Our Brain Enhancement Program recognizes that ADD/ADHD, Dyslexia, learning disabilities, Autism, etc. have similar primary underlying causes, hence the areas of the brain involved in these disorders require similar intervention strategies. Since hemispheric imbalance is often the core problem, it is not enough to just generally stimulate the brain. We must stimulate one side more than the other. So a hemispheric-based approach, or activities directed toward the goal of achieving a balance between the two sides of the brain, is the key to success. To achieve this we use hemispheric-specific activities including motor, academic, behavioral, audio-visual, and biochemical modalities.

Visit our website http://www.parkercare.com/medical-pages/brain-enhancement for more information and a testimonial from a happy young man, who has benefited from this program.

Dr Parker has over 150 post graduate hours in Childhood Neurobehavioral Disorders and is a certified DAN (Defeat Autism Now) doctor.
